Additional funds for the charity fundraising!

The ladies of the Velvet Thorn were seeking to raise another 100k Lindens to add to the 200k (US$690) raised by the Femdom Community in SL group during International Femdom Day last weekend.  We succeeded way beyond our expectations!  168,200 Lindens (over 600 USD!) were raised during the auction and through the donation jar at the auction event.  These funds will have been turned over to the treasury alt Femdom Shelter and will be converted and sent to ProMujer.

Total contribution to ProMujer.org to US$1,345.00!

Fundraising Update

We raised roughly 700 US Dollars from the various fundraising events during International Femdom Day!  Thank you everyone who participated in IFD, to our sponsoring merchants, donators and raffle players.  The entire event was a huge success!!!

We were hoping to raise 1000 USD, enough to help five women through the ProMujer program, but with it being summer that was a challenge.  The mistresses of the Velvet Thorn Femdom are holding a Charity Domme Auction this Saturday, 31 July to make up that difference and push us over the goal we set for ourselves.  More news on that as it occurs.  :-)

We have gotten donations from over 30 merchants - everything from gift certificates to 15,000 Linden Bondage furniture suites.  Ticket prices range from 15-250 Lindens to give everybody lots of chances to win, so buy your tickets early and often!!!!  100% of proceeds to ProMujer.org.  At the last Femdom event we raised enough to help FIVE women to begin their own businesses and begin to lift themselves and their families our of poverty through the ProMujer micro-loan programs.

You can find the raffle items on the gray X shaped boards on either side of the greenhouse.  Just pay the box the amount shown and that enters you to win.  You can pay more times for more chances to win!

On no transfer items, the winner will receive a token which can be redeemed with the merchant donating the item.

As part of our International Femdom Day celebrations and our fund raising activities for ProMujer.org the owners of the Femdoms in our group - Femdom Community in SL -  are offering up their time as auction prizes. 100% of the proceeds go to charity. This is a chance to spend some quality time with these  lovely ladies who work so hard to bring you the very best of Femdom in Second Life, and you get to help  a good cause all at the same time!
